Let's meet up in Athens, Greece

Posted on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at 8:55 am. #

A church. Out of nowhere

The problem: The NAB European Radio Conference has been cancelled. But there are lots of people with aeroplane tickets to Athens already booked.

So… here’s a thought. Many people are still going. Why don’t we meet up anyway? Let’s organise a venue on Monday afternoon (into Monday night); have some quick impromptu presentations anyway (max three minutes!), and talk radio.

Anyone up for it?

Virtually nobody, by the looks of it.

If you cancel “non-refundable” tickets, you still get the airport taxes back; and that’s what I’ve done.

Possibly. Except Mythos tastes rubbish.

James, that’s not a bad idea! There’s also talk of a mini-NAB to be held at the Siel-Satis in Paris (Audiovisual and Media conference) – October 20th to 22nd). See you there?

I was toying with the idea as was Mr Bryant! Not to worry. Anyway, James. You are welcome to experience our beer on the rock here, if you wish to include Scilly on your world tour!
