IFPI report shows radio continues to be resilient - great chart in here showing radio listening across the world.
New Zealand: a good look at a few independent stations in the country (halfway down)
The new Google Home Hub looks like the ideal kitchen radio, if you asked me. Its speaker is apparently decent enough, and the screen should be helpful in finding things to listen to. It’ll be interesting to see how the radio experience is. (Yes, I’m probably going to grab one as soon as it makes it down here).
Well, well. DAB is coming to Sweden. One national service on-air 1 Jan 2019; another on-air a year later. Hell has officially frozen over!

Canada: Toronto music venue changes its name to RADIO (because why not?)
United States

United Kingdom

Not being on DAB nearly cost this radio station its licence…
Capital TV and Heart TV are off air. Good for Global for trying them, and making them sound technically so good. Probably the best-sounding music television channels you’d ever hear. However, YouTube is probably killing this type of service.
Actual funny stunt from a radio station. Bravo Dixie from Heart Yorkshire, and Olly Murs. This is really nice - works well with sound off; is “nice” in that it laughs with the audience, not at them; a bit of star quality; and has a joy and delight about it which is rather refreshing.
Nice article on ThisIsElectric - a studio-less radio station
