Frequently Asked Questions

What's this font you use on your website?

This is my own handwriting - it's my website, after all.

How did you make it, then?

I visited a site called http://www.fontifier.com/. This allowed me to write my handwriting onto a form, scan it, and upload it back to the website - which then allowed me to create my own handwriting as a TrueType font. That was my first effort.
This later effort was made using Microsoft's My Font Tool. It's free, but you do need to have a Tablet PC in order to use it. I do. Woo!

I use an image replacement technique to allow me to use standard HTML, which it then changes to a graphic (which ought to be cached, too).

What's the funny logo you use with the three squares?

The logo top-left, or as a background image behind this page, is a QR code. (See Wikipedia if that doesn't clarify things). Specifically, it's a QR code for this very website. The three squares help the camera orient itself, since it can be photographed upside down if you want.

Can I buy you another beer?

Well, I ought to be going really, but since it's you... go on, then. Mine's a pint of the guest ale.
