Get your copyright date correct
Is there anything worse than going to a website and seeing the copyright date hasn't been updated? Probably. But it still niggles me. So use this instead.
Copyright <? echo date("Y"); ?> Me
This will always show the correct date... so it'll say "Copyright 2012 Me" now, and at exactly midnight on 1st January 2013, it'll say "Copyright 2013 Me". And you've not had to do anything.
