Yum. Rioja.

I’m off on a rather odd trip tonight (toting said new radio); I’m off tasting wine. And avoiding the scallops.

Apparently I’m one of the movers and shakers of the digital world, and thus I’ll be Twittering my wine tasting with the best of them.

… and on Twitter I’m @jamescridland if you don’t already follow my inane warblings.

[updated]

And here are the results from me (which might make for rather dull reading given you’ve no idea what I’m talking about):

Wine 1 (“Gentille”): light, fruity, not too acidic, and “a white wine I might drink”, I noted
Wine 2 (“PinotBlanc”) lighter colour but more of an aftertaste, hangoverville, reminds me why I don’t like white wine.
Wine 3 (“Gewurz…”) Darker, fruitier, full-tasting, sweeter, smoother, closer to a dessert wine, lovely, fave so far.
Wine 4 (“Riesling”) fuller-flavoured, but lighter and drier, and catches the back of the throat a little. preferred #3
(and I didn’t have time for wine 5.)

Thanks to @anniemole and @thirstforwine for a splendid evening.

The PURE url is www.thelounge.com, sadly .co.uk appears to be a focus group facility :)
