I’m not leaving data switched on (though have just bought the O2 international data bundle for the rare occasions when I will use it.)

And sorry, Ben, I’ve only shared ‘city’, not completely accurate data… and in any event, you can lie on Google Latitude quite convincingly.

I think you should go further and integrate this with Google Streeview to see exactly which street you are on. You could even superimpose an image of yourself walking down the pavement…

So you’re leaving data switched on as you globe-trot? That could get expensive!

(OK – so you’re probably planning on using local WiFi more often than not).
