Hey James,

Don't worry - the speech sounded fine from where I was sitting!

It was great to have you guys involved in the awards this year - look forward to hearing more from 'the geeks' at future student radio events - I always feel they get a bit underrepresented amongst the student radio community.

Cheers,

Mark

I'm so glad I rarely have to speak in front of a large audience of people I don't know! Well done you, James! I'm disappointed I didn't go now as by all accounts it was a great evening.

Power to the geeks! =)

Good to hear that the student radio awards are still alive and well.

I heard Steve Lamacq interview the Station Editor from URN on 6Music last week (tweet: http://twitter.com/frankieroberto/status/995147719). Lamacq mentioned that 6Music 'was planning something' for the awards for next year. I wonder what that could be... Winner getting a slot on the station?
