Radio at the Edge 2009 – coverage on Twitter

Interesting chaps v2

By the time you read this, I’ll be at Radio at the Edge, the radio conference in London. That’s it, above, except in 2005. I’m chairing this year’s conference, and it’ll be my last as Chair – the radio industry is changing, and RATE will need to change with it.

If you’ve missed getting tickets, during the day you’ll be able to see some handy quotes, and pertinent retweets, on the twitter account @radioattheedge, which will also be displayed in the main lecture theatre itself this year. Assuming I’ve remembered to bring the spare laptop. I hope you enjoy this extra service.

The hashtag is #rate09 – I’ve managed to get the hashtag into the programme, but not mentioned that if you are going, tagging your photos #rate09 on Flickr would also be very welcome, and Creative-Commons licensing them to allow the Radio Academy re-use. So, please do.

It’s been an honour and a privilege to be involved with the event for the past five years. I hope I do the Academy proud today.
