New Radio presentation

Posted on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 4:16pm. #

Normally, I don’t give copies of my presentations afterwards. The pictures make little sense (I don’t tend to use a lot of text), and they’re full of videos and audio clips.

However, above, you’ll find a very cut-down version of a conference speech I made at the recent WorldDMB General Assembly in Paris. This version has no audio or video clips in it, and is therefore a little dull. Instead, it has me talking in a slightly embarrassed way while sitting on a treestump in the middle of Hyde Park. And it was drizzling a little.

But it might be interesting to some. It’s probably nothing new – and if you’re seeing one of my presentations on my round-the-world trip, which starts tomorrow, you’ll probably see many if not all of these slides anyway, so don’t go spoiling it… (grin)

Hey James
Great presentation-I think the slogan “agree on technology compete on content” is a great ethos for the industry right now.

Good luck on the travels!

I hope you got rid of that squirrel…

Ha Ha Ha!

Too bad I haven’t been able to see any of your presentations yet, however I imagine I’ll have a chance in Copenhagen in March?

I am Norwegian so I have an extra interest in the BBC Radio 4 bit you mentioned. I have a fair bit of irony about my heritage and giggled hoping to hear something hilariously funny, but no. So … please bring a clip to Copenhagen and I’ll pay for at least one pint of your favourite brand of local Scandinavian beer.

Oh, and well done on all you do! Very inspiring!

Well, my head is filled with information and full of ideas (yes, I imagine this is a good thing now). If there were a more dynamic time in the media and music industry (including the public radio service) then I have no idea how one could keep up with its current crazy pace.

Thank you for generously sharing this with all of us. It is indeed very inspiring.

And, the microbrewery discovery offer still stands.
