New BBC Radio 4 Website

Last minute tweaking going on, but the clever team in this office are putting the finishing touches to a new BBC Radio 4 website. It’s special because it’s driven in an entirely dynamic way, and is a significant behind-the-scenes change from the quite horrifying static perl-and-other-crap way that most BBC webpages are created.

I’m quite proud of the preview at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/help/sitetour/, only because this little idea was mine (rather shamelessly nicked from the FT, being honest) in a project meeting a while back.

Looking forward to seeing the proper site go live.

Looking forward to hearing you on Feedback when the complaints come in!

That’ll be the job of a nice man called Leigh, or a similarly nice man called Andrew. They don’t let people like me on Feedback…
