And you&#039;d be mostly correct.

It&#039;s certainly bollocks -- I&#039;ve poured &#039;em both ways (well, you would, given the chance, wouldn&#039;t you?) and no bugger can tell the difference.  But it&#039;s been going on for so long now that the origins are lost, so we can&#039;t really tell anymore whether it&#039;s the 30s equivalent of the red-braces people.

Pouring it in one shot, mind, doesn&#039;t actually save any time.  Thing still takes two minutes to turn a solid black either way.</description>
