It is also good to learn that the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate are holding solidarity marches and other demonstrations in Gaza in an attempt to free Alan Johnston. Reports claim that Alan is "alive and well", so let us hope that he is soon released, unharmed, and able to return to his family, friends and colleagues.
