Agree on technology, compete on content

A friend sends me the above Dilbert strip (embedded here with apparent permission of Dilbert.com), which makes me smile.

My ‘agree on technology, compete on content’ mantra* has been repeated across North America and Canada over the past four weeks. It’s had a lot of plaudits. Somehow, the above Dilbert strip seems quite appropriate.

I’ve still many blog posts to write; I wrote this awaiting a flight back to London for Christmas. In the New Year, I’m off to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Singapore, and India. I’m looking forward to learning more – and relaxing more – then. If you’re there, and would like me to come and chat with you and your team, please do get in touch.

* It’s not mine, it’s Nick Piggott‘s. I agreed with it, and have therefore stolen it. Agree with catchphrases, compete on airline tickets.
