For a while, I’ve been doing these via Delicious. Given that I surf the web on a number of different machines, some of which don’t have my Delicious plugin (and some of which aren’t able to even run sensible browsers, no thank to you, Siemens/BBC), my bookmarking has been rather non-existent recently.
Instead, this section of my blog will be ‘What I’ve spotted in Google Reader’ from now on. So, here goes.
A One-stop Audio Shop – Cons (and Pros)
Adam Bowie looks at the recent BBC announcement (rather muddled by Media Guardian) about a common player for UK radio

Last.fm Radio Announcement
They’re charging for everyone outside the US/GB/DE countries. But not much. And I’ve been paying that anyway.
Absolute Radio To Sell Planet Rock Advertising by Donnach O’Driscoll
Makes perfect sense. One does wonder what the point of Absolute Classic Rock is, if they’re also selling Planet Rock, mind. Can I has my eighties station now, please?
Links for 2009-03-23 [del.icio.us]

The World’s Largest MMORPG: You’re Playing it Right Now
Why people do stuff online, and what we shouldn’t forget
Text and narration on screen (with a twist)
Brilliant video. Go and watch it.
New BBC Radio 4 Viral
Amusing video. Nearly as worth going to watch as the one above. But not quite.
Music
Diamond Geezer writes a great blog. This is just one example.
Photographic Terrorism
How far can you go in photographing a policeman before breaking the law?
What's The Frequency, Lexington?
Good news for radio
Small Idea. Big Impact. (Less Mess.)
How they stop mess in urinals. No, really, go read this, it’s fascinating.
Chris Moyles row: Now BBC radio is scared of its own shadow
More sense from Paul Smith, as ever
MACCA & Your Morning Show
Why Geoff Lloyd’s interviews with Macca are always going to be better than a serious but dull interview by a serious but dull music journalist, and why we shouldn’t forget it
