Hi,
the Fm Radio receptionon the NOKIA phones is far better than this iPod add on. I was disappointed how sensitive it was to the signal, and still I have not ben able to get the RDS data to dispaly on the iPods screen, that will be due to the poor signal...

Just bought one of these radio remote thingies, and the one I got here definately does STEREO. However it requires a quite strong signal to get stereo reception, however walking down the street or riding on a bus while listening to the radio causes the stereo to drop to MONO quite frequently.

On the other hand I found the RDS to be rather flakey/non-existant. Here in Bristol we got all the BBC stations, 1 BBC local, and 3 commercial stations at quite good signal strength. And the RDS Radiotext from only one station was displayed on my iPod 5G and iPod Nano. I also got a portable Roberts FM/AM radio located in the same room, and that displays the RDS Radiotext from all the stations perfectly.

According to Apple's FAQ page, changing the country does change de-emphasis. But interestingly, if you set it to USA, then it'll use RDS PS, rather than RT.

No mention of stereo, though.
