Unlike your situation in the UK, the reality of a hung parliament is fairly common here in Canada (and not that unusual also in Quebec) although we use the term minority government to qualify it instead. I shall be interested to learn and understand a little more now about the UK Election as I am more and more aware that it stirs such much passion, surprisingly (our political universe seems a tad more bland).
