I actually still have some Frazier Chorus on 12″ vinyl here in Greece awaiting transfer to mp3 or something when I get round to doing all of that. They did make some singles after ‘Sue’ as well, produced or re-jigged or something by Paul Oakenfold when Virgin/EMI were trying to make them indie-dance-pop rather than fey-innefectual-pop. I really liked them at the time.

sue is a great album..they went on to make a couple more though..”ray” (blue cover dolphins on the front) which was also very good, it had their- i think- ‘biggest’ commercial songs ‘nothing’ and ‘cloud 8′ on it.. and then a few years later “wide awake” not so good..lots of stuff about having a baby. The album ‘ray’ had the remix things on, which don’t quite work…i recommend downloading ray as well though if they have it..heather

Did I just see that THE Tim Freeman left a post? I was one of the lucky ones to buy a copy (CD) of Sue and Ray while living in Japan and then Wide Awake stateside. Also have the the Cloud 8 mixes and one other that has a rooster on the cover. Frazier has to be one of my all time favorite bands. One of my great friends (Dan Cassidy) mused that they were the thinking man’s Erasure. Every person to which I have introduced them have scoured the tubes to find used copies. I do hope that the post above is correct and old and new fans alike can enjoy these gems.

just sitting in my house here in dallas texas listening to “sue” and thought I’d check the web for any updates on f.c.
I worked for “details” magazine in new york for years, and when I was there f.c. was one of the office’s favorite bands. an editor at the magazine turned me on to them and I was hooked and spread the word. as I can see today, the music holds up very well. given what I see is a challenge to find these cd’s now, I’m happy that I bought and kept them all. so nice to get reacquainted with such a distinctive sound. would love for any member of the band to give us all on update on where they are and what they’re doing…

Loved Dream Kitchen and Typical. Saw F.C. at Shaw Theatre near London Euston in 1989 and they sounded superb live. Best wishes to all the band members. As ever, they never enjoyed the commercial rewards that their music deserved, but the memory never dies!

EMI have finally put everything by Frazier up on itunes now. Even impossible stuff, like the demo versions from cassette singles is there. I know since I contributed with a scan of the sleeve from the withdrawn Heaven 7″ for them.
