Big Brother is regenerating

Posted on Thursday, November 22nd, 2007 at 11:06pm. #

Today, The Guardian reports

Celebrity Big Brother has been dropped in its traditional form, but in January the youth-oriented digital channel E4 will show Celebrity Big Brother Hijack, in which celebrities take on the Big Brother role.

Tonight, I can exclusively reveal that ‘Celebrity Big Brother Hijack’ will have a viral computer game attached to it, and will also be on radio as well as television.

I know this because of a clot from the digital media agency Holler was rehearsing his presentation on the tube tonight, sitting next to me. I also know how much Channel 4 will be asked to produce said viral game, incidentally. And the brief is from Channel 4; it’s not just a quick punt.

Interesting that it’ll be “on radio”. Is this the Channel 4 definition of radio (their website, until they launch on DAB), or does this mean that oneword, the channel they own with UBC, will be carrying some coverage as a trial run? Hmm.

Anyway. Clue to the wise… don’t go through your presentations on the tube.

(And, for heavens sake, as a digital agency, why on earth doesn’t a Google search for “Holler” or even “Holler agency” actually find your website?)
