Incidentally, the conversation you describe is one of the few social situations - if talking about Google Maps can be regarded as a social situation - in which I'd be prepared to go over and intervene, assuming they looked like they were being taken in. Did you? (Not that I have ever set foot in a Carphone Warehouse.)</description>
