		<description>Thanks for the info.  There are lots of good Australian craft beers to choose from.  Here in the States, most people only know Foster's which is nothing like many of the good bears you mention here.</description>

		<description>Glad to see you appreciated the likes of Mountain Goat -- some seriously good beers available from the new microbreweries, especially in Victoria. Equally glad to hear you slagging off VB, Carlton 'Draught', etc ... the majority of beers that come from the great Aussie beer duopoly (Carlton United and Lion Nathan) are pretty average. 

Incidentally, it's no trick of chance that you didn't see anyone drinking Fosters down here; we simply don't drink it, it's almost purely an export beer ... it's always available at bottleshops, but it's just not popular with Australian beer drinkers.</description>
