Equally glad to hear you slagging off VB, Carlton 'Draught', etc ... the majority of beers that come from the great Aussie beer duopoly (Carlton United and Lion Nathan) are pretty average. Incidentally, it's no trick of chance that you didn't see anyone drinking Fosters down here; we simply don't drink it, it's almost purely an export beer ... it's always available at bottleshops, but it's just not popular with Australian beer drinkers.
