Thanks, we like our Union Jack, and the Irish Tricolour, even if their juxtaposition seems odd given recent history (but history be damned, eh?). I’d carry a “Mod” RAF badge on the site too, if I could get it past the US owners…

Well said Mr Cridland!

I’ve always loved the little Union Jack on the Virgin site, so at talkSPORT we decided to do the same (Even though it is as you say a little bit fuzzy).

It’d be great if more UK sites did the same (Now that you’re at the BBC surely you can make it a national issue).

As for talkSPORT’s indiscretions in the past what can I say? We were caught red handed! Virgin have always had great sites so it’s been hard to resist borrowing a few ideas (We’d have got away with it if it hadn’t been for our damn sloppy editor).

There’s always been one on this site… http://www.littlesleepyhead.co.uk although we had to change the text from “Made in Britain” to “A British idea” when we shunted manufacture across to mainland Europe.
