I use the del.icio.us add-on for Firefox so never use those kind of buttons. I did though put "Add This" buttons on currybetdotnet, and the stats show that people do use them - and I'm guessing my regular audience is pretty tech and web-savvy. I think I'll hold off "Share This" and see how far it spreads first. Can't say I was terribly impressed with the implementation on BBC News though - it really looks bolted on to the foot of the page.
