Following my blog post about their cancelled Google Video thing, Google now gives full credit card refunds. It was my blog that did it. Mine, d’you hear?

Lots of sanctimonious twaddle with SENTENCES IN BOLD from the globally-challenged Mark Ramsey. I think he thinks he’s being frightening. He might be interested in the UK’s recent RAJAR multi-platform figures, which show… oh, no, silly me.

How to take decisions. Hmm. Can I think of a corporation that might find this useful? Hmm. Let me think… Better not put them in the tag, otherwise it’ll be really obvious. (Hat tip: Nick Piggott)

Cool. My photograph gets used in the website for the French newspaper Libération. I’m quite proud of that.

Quite a splendid photograph from Pete Naughton (who I’m assuming is a relative of some sort), pointed out by John Naughton. Guess what it is before you read the description

“Why is the media so keen that the hurricane should go from a category 4 to a category 5 storm? It’s the difference between being hit by a bus and being hit by a lorry. It’s going to do a lot of damage either way.” - more depressingly wise words from Adam

Mistakes and omissions in Encyclopædia Britannica which have been corrected in Wikipedia. “These examples can serve as useful reminders of the fact that no encyclopedia can ever expect to be perfectly error-free”. (Hat tip: John Naughton)

One day, Seth Godin will stop speaking sense. Until that time, here’s another brilliant post… about crapulent radio ads. (I *am* a fan of the word ‘crapulent’).

I conform to the (old-fashioned) “a sig should be four lines or less”. I do in my new job (there’s no guidelines on sigs); I did in my old job (I helped write the guidelines). And don’t put your email address in your sig, stupid. (Hat-tip: Lifehacker)

Where I went over the weekend. Quite pleased with this photo montage. Quite enjoyable finding the street signs, too.

Great photo. Apparently totally unplanned, too. (Hat tip: Annie Mole)
