why buy the identicle but branded version for £60 when  can have the chiPOD version, which is IDENTICLE it uses the exact same memory, even made by the same company.

it cost £12 off ebay!</description>

basically is a 1/2kb file header, followed by switched video and audio frames. The audio is encoded with MPEG1 Audio Layer 3 (aka MP3), the image information is stored in uncompressed raw format (RGB).

During decoding of the video stream, the audio frames are passed to the decoder, while the memory pointer of the display hardware is simply flicked to the next raw image within the raw video stream. Simple and get around all the mpeg4 patents mut this process uses a f**k load of memory as there is no compression in the video stream.</description>
